We’re Home-Start Basingstoke & Deane, a local family support charity, and we’re thrilled to be settling into our new home here at Oakridge Hall For All.

For over 20 years, we’ve been working with families across the Basingstoke and Deane area, offering support during the most important—and sometimes most challenging—early years of raising children. Our mission is simple: Empowering families to give their children the best start, because we believe childhood can’t wait.

We work alongside families who may be facing difficulties such as isolation, mental health struggles, financial hardship, or just the everyday challenges of parenting. Our trained volunteers and experienced staff provide compassionate, confidential, one-to-one support tailored to each family’s unique needs.

Alongside this personalised support, we also run friendly, inclusive group sessions both here at the hall and at locations across Basingstoke. These include our Multiple Birth Group, Bumps to Newborn and Beyond, Wellbeing Circle, and Little Wellies—all designed to help parents connect with others, build confidence, and feel supported.
